Well, maybe. I don’t know. Only time will tell. Only a few of my other SAKs are that old. Also, almost none of them get used as frequently as the Super Tinker.
Reason?
Nothing in particular. But I guess I want to save my other comparatively ‘dearer’ SAKs at the cost of the ‘cheaper’ Super Tinker.

You don’t get a corkscrew in the Super Tinker. That may be the biggest weakness of the Super Tinker for some. After all, SAKs became mainstream after Vic added a corkscrew to the Officer’s And Sports knife!
It is missing a wood saw! So outdoor usage (think bushcraft, backpacking in the woods, etc) is a bit limited.
I would have also liked it more if it had the plus-scales with the ballpoint pen.
I know I am just nitpicking!!
If you need the corkscrew, you will get the Victorinox Climber, won’t you? Similarly, there are other SAK models with a wood saw.
And the plus scales will increase the price considerably. Have you seen how expensive the Victorinox Compact is? The Super Tinker’s main USP is being a VFM SAK, which the Compact will never be!
The Verdict: Is the Victorinox Super Tinker the Right Choice for You?
The Super Tinker is for you if:
